Heather Burns is a principal and sustainability strategist at ALIVE communities. ALIVE integrates ancient wisdom with modern technologies to co-design practical tools and sustainable methods to build new economies, helping organizations such as HaitiOnward.org and the American Sustainable Business Council. She is on the advisory board for the Green Parking Council, a 501 c3 whose mission is to set green garage standards and extend existing electric vehicle charging station infrastructure. Heather is also founder of GreenScenes – local, sustainable business networks – and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree from Post University.
Michael Ehrenpreis
Arrun Kapoor is Principal with SJF Ventures’ New York City office. He leads the NYC CleanLinks program and is an Advisory Board Member of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission Green Business Accelerator. He is on the Board of FieldView Solutions and a Board Observer to ServiceChannel and Truist. Kapoor was most recently with Bain & Company in London and Delhi where he launched the firm’s internal green practice initiatives. He worked with Bain’s Private Equity Practice and gained experience in a range of cleantech-related industries. Prior to Bain, he was a founding member and Manager with a successful consulting start-up in New York and London. He holds a Master’s in International Political Economics from the London School of Economics and completed a BA from New York University with an economics and business focus.
Robert Politzer is the President and founder of GreenStreet Inc. Under Mr. Politzer’s leadership, GreenStreet has grown from a small environmental testing and abatement company to a leading green building firm, operating primarily in the tri-state region. Mr. Politzer is a LEED accredited professional and was the Chair of the Sustainable Business Task Force of the New York State Environmental Business Association. He is a former New York City public high school teacher and Adjunct Professor at New York University and the New York City Technical College. Mr. Politzer holds a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University, a M.A. in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan, and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Manhattan College.
